New Extraction Unit at Tumu Timbers

At Tumu Timbers we are committed to continuous improvement and achieving quality objectives relating to the products and services we supply to our customers.

The recent addition of our new sawdust and shavings extraction unit furthers our commitment in this area. This extraction unit is the latest capital improvement project to be completed at Tumu Timbers and with it comes improved quality of residue, enhanced environmental control and increased production capacity.

In addition, the weight capacity of our containers will now be optimised due to increased density and higher quality residue. We are pleased to see the results of this project which will benefit our customers and benefit the environment by reducing our impact on it.

Finally, the increased residue extraction capacity and resulting increased production capacity will pave the way for future upgrades to our plant and machinery as we continue grow as a business.
