BCITO Apprenticeship

Congratulations to Hinehou Ryland who signed up for the BCITO apprenticeship last week!
Hine came to us through The Development Hub - People Business Community, she started at Tumu Frame and Truss working with the delivery of components, and wrapping and labelling frame and trusses. The yearlong apprenticeship will see her move onto the manufacturing side of Frame and Truss, she will learn the whole process from cutting components, assembling, and safe operation and maintenan...ce of nail and staple guns and other power tools. Hine will also learn to operate several different types of specialised machines including nog nailer, pressing equipment and hoists. Apprenticeships are something that Tumu strongly encourage to promote the growth and continuous learning of our employees.
