Inaugural Tumu Timbers Staff Awards Presentation.

On Saturday 25th July, Tumu Timbers had its annual mid winter function at the Hastings RSA. This event is just one of the ways that the business recognises the efforts of all staff throughout the year and is typically held at this time of the year due to the historic seasonality of the business. This years event saw the launch of the inaugural Tumu Timbers Staff Awards presentation which is aimed at recognising staff across a range of awards – these awards will be presented annually in the future.
Congratulations to this years winners as follows:
Most reliable employee award – At work on time, low absenteeism
WINNER(S): Andrew Fisher and Hong Tang
Most progressive UFI award (improvement value vs. amount of them)
WINNER: Cory Jones
Runners Up: Shaun Peta, Anurag Kanwar, Shanon Sullivan and Jerry Edlin
Outstanding contribution to UFI award – The employee with the most UFIs raised for the last financial year
WINNER: Shaun Peta – 47
Runners Up: Cory Jones 40 and Anurag Kanwar with 37
Good on U award nominee – The employee receiving the most nominations for the year embracing all Tumu values
WINNER: Shaun Peta with 5
Runners Up: Jerry Edlin and Jason Thompson
Good on U nominator – The employee who makes the most Good on U nominations, taking time to recognise others hard work within the company.

Most active in H+S award – Employee who embraces safety, including raising UFIs with a safety focus
and actively participates in H&S initiatives
