'Give it a Go Day' Squash

On Sunday 16th September, Tumu Timbers and Tumu Frame Truss employees had an opportunity to give squash a go and what a successful turn out it was at the Hastings Tennis & Squash Club, Whitehead Rd Hastings.

Many thanks to Ray Fyfe (Emmerson’s Transport and Hastings Squash President) for allowing us to use the facilities. This certainly was a great opportunity for the Tumu Group to try something new, or the old to get back on the court for a hit and love the sport again.
Another big thank you to our wonderful trainers Juanita Eagle, Whitney Nohokou and Rhona Wilkie for giving up their Sunday to teach us some skills/tricks of squash.
Lots of laughs were heard, sweat seen and running involved. It certainly was an awesome way to spend a Sunday afternoon, finished off with light refreshments.

Tumu Timbers have now entered a Business House Team starting Thursday 4th October to play other local businesses including Tumu Frame & Truss who already have two teams in the competition.

And finally, many thanks to all who attended and for showing your support to the “Give it a Go Day” – Squash.
